Calvert Social Investment Foundation
Community Investment Partners (CIP), a program of Calvert Social Investment Foundation (Calvert Foundation), makes available the lessons learned from operating an efficient and high impact community investment program, crafted over a ten year period. Community Investment Partners is dedicated to making it possible for every investor to become a community investor.

Calvert Community Investment Notes
With a minimum $1,000 investment, the Calvert Community Investment Note offers a smart and effective way to conveniently invest in a broad range of local nonprofits. Every dollar invested is lent to local nonprofits to create affordable homes, jobs and bright futures for families and communities. Investors can select the term (one, three or five years) interest they want to pay, (zero to four percent) and the geographic region in which their capital will be placed. An investment through the Community Investment Note benefits from professional administration, portfolio diversification, a solid performance track-record and more than $8 million in credit enhancements that stand ready to protect the investor from potential losses.

Customized Community Investment Portfolios:
Community Investment note holders placing $50,000 or greater may recommend their own custom portfolio of community investment organizations. Investors may target a region, sector, or specific nonprofit borrowers - perhaps focusing on areas which impact your business or the communities in which you organization operates. Even with this customization, you continue to benefit from the same portfolio diversification, professional management and credit enhancements available to all Calvert Community Investment Note holders. Organizations to receive the investment capital must be consistent with Calvert Foundation's overall policies and guidelines and meet the same credit quality screen applied across the portfolio overall. There is no charge to the investor for these customized services.

Calvert Giving Fund - Donor Advised Fund
A Calvert Giving Fund is like having a Virtual Foundation, started with as little as $5,000. Establishing a corporate Giving Fund can help your company maintain a steady program of giving even if your organization's earnings fluctuate from year to year. With a donor advised fund, you create a legacy of giving and investing in the future of your community and world. In addition, a Giving Fund allows you to outsource the administration of a corporate giving program, thus minimizing your set-up and administrative costs and record-keeping responsibilities, while maximizing your tax benefits and social impact. To learn more, request a Giving Fund Kit (make sure to identify yourself as a Corporation or Foundation).
