Calvert Giving Fund - Donor Advised Fund
A Calvert
Giving Fund is like having a Virtual Foundation, started with as little
as $5,000. Establishing a corporate Giving Fund can help your company
maintain a steady program of giving even if your organization's earnings
fluctuate from year to year. With a donor advised fund, you create a legacy
of giving and investing in the future of your community and world. In
addition, a Giving Fund allows you to outsource the administration of
a corporate giving program, thus minimizing your set-up and administrative
costs and record-keeping responsibilities, while maximizing your tax benefits
and social impact. To learn more, request a Giving
Fund Kit (make sure to identify yourself as a Corporation or Foundation).
CDCD Pools
(Community Development Certificates of Deposit)

insured CD pools. Each client, with its own tax ID number, can place up

banks, and others with dedicated community development operations. Institutional
investors may select (or not) the specific depositaries to be included
in the pool. CD pool management services run an average fee of 35-75 basis
points per year, generating a net yield of approximately 3.5% The CDCD
pool product is particularly attractive to institutions seeking to address
pricing and risk assessment issues.
